The story behind ‘When Lambo’ starts with Peter Saddington, a modest 35-year-old coder who was fortunate (or wise!) enough to discover bitcoin cryptocurrency back in 2011.

(We say ‘wise’ because Saddington studied computer science at Florida State before obtaining three master’s degrees in counseling, education, and theology from Luther Rice College & Seminary in Georgia!)

Saddington habitually purchased cryptocurrency every Friday for five years until, once he had amassed significant wealth off the back of an initial $115 investment, he cashed in 45 bitcoins to purchase a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan.

The model — complete with a white matte wrap and racing exhaust characteristics — was estimated to be worth $200,000. Not bad for a $115 initial outlay!

Saddington’s success has become something of an urban myth among bitcoin buyers, inspiring many to ask upfront: ‘When will a coin be high enough for me to purchase a Lamborghini?’
